It has been a busy and exciting time. We've been organizing and preparing a special product line exclusive to artifaax.com. We hope to bring part of this line to you next month. These products will also be available to our wholesale customers across North America.
We recently uploaded a collection of resin replications of argilite poles (see 'gifts' section). These carvings were made by a Canadian company in Vancouver, BC and were commissioned by 'The Canadian Museum of Civilization' in Ottawa, Ont. Apparently, some of these replications are so good, people are mistaking them for the real thing! Argilite is a slate material and is only available in Haida Gwaii. People of the Haida Nation are the only people allowed to carve in this exclusive material. The resin replications are a way for us to sample these unique carvings.

The last month has been very special. My niece Talysia Brillon was married to Mario Ayala on June 8th. It was a celebration of many generations of families and many different nationalities. We were all there to share the love and happiness these two young people have for each other. It also strengthened and reminded us of the love we have for each other.
